Do we know what will happen tomorrow?
No. But God does, and he holds every one of our days.
Before you talk
You plan, you budget, you set alarms, and then life does what it wants. A flat tire, a phone call, a storm. You cannot control tomorrow. But you can know the One who holds it.
Before you talk to your child, think about this: what are you anxious about that you cannot control? Now hand it over.
Start the conversation
- "What are you most excited about tomorrow?"
- "Do you know for sure it will happen? What if it does not?"
- "Who holds tomorrow for us? Even when we do not know what will happen, God does."
Look for it this week
When plans change unexpectedly this week, say it out loud: "We did not see that coming, but God did."
