Should we wait until we know everything before we obey God?
No! We trust God and go, even when we cannot see what is ahead.
Before you talk
You will never have all the information. Not about your career, not about your parenting, not about your faith. But obedience does not require certainty, it requires trust. Your child is learning this every time you ask them to do something they do not fully understand: "Get in the car, we are going somewhere good." Faith works the same way.
Start the conversation
- "Have you ever had to do something brave without knowing what would happen?"
- "Was it scary? What helped you do it anyway?"
- "God asks us to trust him and go, even when we cannot see the end. That is faith."
Look for it this week
When your child hesitates on something new, say: "You do not have to see the end to take the first step. I am right here."
