Children’s Sermon Discussion Guide
Week 14November 15, 2026Lord's Supper Sunday
Why do we remember what God has done?
Because when we remember God's good gifts, our hearts stay close to him.
Before you talk
Memory is an act of faith. When you tell your child about the time God provided, the time he answered, the time he showed up, you are not living in the past. You are building their future faith. They will face hard things. And when they do, they need a catalog of God's faithfulness to draw from. You are building that catalog right now, at the dinner table, in the car, at bedtime.
Start the conversation
- "What is one good thing God has done for our family?"
- "Why is it important to remember good things?"
- "Today at church we remember what God did through Jesus. What did Jesus do for us?"
Look for it this week
Start a family "God did this" list on the fridge or in a notebook. Add one thing this week.
